Affiliate Program Terms

The affiliate program lets you earn commission by referring customers to Auto Sunshades ("we", "us"). Joining is free. You become an affiliate when you accept these terms in your account. We remain the seller of every product: we set prices and handle orders, shipping, customer service, returns and refunds under Australian Consumer Law.

You earn 10% of net product revenue on referred orders, unless we agree a different rate with you in writing. "Net product revenue" means the product price after discounts, excluding GST, shipping, refunds and chargebacks. The rate that applies is recorded on each order when it's placed; rate changes never alter past commission.

An order is referred to you when it's placed within 30 days of a click on your link, or when your code is used at checkout. A code beats a link, and the most recent link click wins. One affiliate per order. Your own purchases (orders placed with your account's email) never earn commission.

Your code gives your audience 5% off while it's active. Only one promo code can be used per order, so it doesn't stack with other offers. We may change the audience discount or switch codes off for the whole program with notice on this page.

Commission is held for 30 days after the order so returns and refunds can settle. Refunded or charged-back orders reverse the related commission. We pay monthly by bank transfer or PayPal once your available balance is $50 or more. You must add accurate payout details before we can pay you.

You are responsible for your own tax. Commission may need to be declared to the ATO. Where payments are treated as supplier payments and no ABN is quoted, we may be required to withhold tax at the top marginal rate. If you're registered for GST, tell us and include it on your details.

You must clearly disclose that you may earn a commission whenever you share your link or code, for example: "I'm a Auto Sunshades affiliate and may earn a commission if you buy through my link." Disclosure must be clear and up front, not hidden in hashtags or at the end of a long caption.

You must not: list your code on coupon, voucher or deal sites; bid on our brand names or close variants in search or social ads; send spam or unsolicited messages; use misleading claims about fit, price, or your relationship with us; impersonate us; or refer orders through cookie stuffing, incentivised clicks, or any other manipulation.

Don't imply endorsement by any vehicle manufacturer. Make and model names describe compatibility only.

You can leave at any time; commission already earned stays payable under these terms. We may pause or end your participation, switch off your code, and withhold commission on affected orders if you breach these terms. Commission on genuine, unaffected orders remains payable. We may change these terms by publishing a new version; continuing to share your link after a change means you accept it.

We use your name, email, payout and tax details to run the program and pay you, in line with our Privacy Policy. Your dashboard shows order numbers and amounts but never your customers' names, emails or addresses. We record which page a referral click landed on and which website sent it, so you can see what works. We don't record who clicked.
