Round 304 stainless, not flat steel
Most shades are framed with flat steel wire. It corrodes, and its edge works through the mesh at the fold. Ours is round-profile 304 stainless — it doesn't rust, and it doesn't cut the fabric it sits in.
Visibility

Living in north QLD these are essential. Keeps the back seat bearable when the car's been sitting in the sun. Magnets hold up in the heat which surprised me honestly, thought they'd weaken.
Shades are great quality and fit well, no issues with the product at all. But it took 11 days to arrive and the listing said 2-5 business days. Would buy again but just be aware shipping might be slower than advertised.
Third set of car shades I've bought and finally found ones that work. Others either didn't fit right or fell off in the heat. These actually stick and stay stuck. Happy camper.
Got these on a recommendation from a friend. Fit is good and they block glare well. Shipping took a week which is fine but the tracking never updated so I thought the order had been lost. Turned up fine though. Shades are good quality.
