This set includes front-door panels — parked use only. Australian road rules don't allow shades on the front driver or passenger windows while you're driving. Fit them when the car is parked, and take them off before you drive. Rear-door and third-row panels are fine to leave on.

Fitment

Real-world fitment photos

These shades fitted to this exact model, photographed on the car.

Cut to this generation's pattern

These match the manufacturer's pattern for this generation's glass.

About these HONDA BRIO sun shades

The Honda Brio is a nimble little hatch, and its large rear screen and side glass mean the back seat warms up quickly in the sun. Fitted shades give rear passengers and child seats real relief from glare and UV, and take the edge off the cabin heat after a day parked outside.

Brio coverage includes front, rear and four-piece door window sets, a boot/tailgate shade, and combination bundles pairing the rear doors or all four doors with the boot. Add the tailgate piece if the load area carries anything heat-sensitive — or a furry passenger.

Custom-measured on your exact car — Every shade is measured directly on each individual vehicle, then produced at the workshop, fitted to the car, and fine-tuned until it meets standard. Only the finished, fitted car is photographed before the product goes to market — so every product is precise, thanks to a closed-loop, specialised process.

A genuine, gap-free fit — Exact dimensions mean the shades sit flush: clean-looking, with no gaps or warping and no damage to the door seals. Rear-door shades cover the whole door, while front-door shades are cut to leave just enough room to see your mirror, watch the road, and reach toll and parking cards.

100% black polyester mesh — The mesh blocks UV rays and cuts glare and cabin heat. Already have window film? Add these shades and you're set. No film yet? The shades alone are highly effective — there's no need to film your side windows (film the windscreen if you'd like).

Fast on, fast off — Fitting and removing the shades is quick and simple. Even with the window down, the shade still blocks sun, dust, and insects. Best of all, from inside you can see out clearly, while from outside it is harder to see in.

Shades hold securely in normal driving — we recommend removing them at highway speeds.

Build quality

Round 304 stainless, not flat steel

Most shades are framed with flat steel wire. It corrodes, and its edge works through the mesh at the fold. Ours is round-profile 304 stainless — it doesn't rust, and it doesn't cut the fabric it sits in.

Six close-ups comparing frames. Standard flat steel: a thin flat wire, prone to rust, shown corroded and having torn through the mesh. Our round steel frame: a polished round 304 stainless tube that won't rust and won't tear the mesh.

A fitted rear-door window shade seen from inside the car. The street, parked cars and shopfronts outside are clearly visible through the mesh.

Visibility

See out, without being seen

The mesh is open enough to see through from inside and dense enough to keep the cabin private from outside. Windows still wind down, and air still moves through.

Solid shades, they block the sun well and stay attached. Took a week longer than the estimated delivery to show up which was a bit annoying but not a huge deal. Would buy again, just set your expectations on timing.

Patrick

Got these for my wife's car after she kept borrowing a towel to drape over the back window for the baby. Neater solution by far and she reckons it works better too. Easy to remove if you need to, don't have to commit to them being on permanently. Good buy.

Emily

Pleasantly surprised by how well these work for a universal fit. Snug against the frame on all four windows, no light leaking around the edges. The rear one took a bit more fiddling to get positioned right but once it's on it stays. Cuts down the UV noticeably, my arms don't get that burnt feeling on long drives anymore.

Ava J.

Really effective at cutting the heat and glare. My only tiny gripe is the packaging was a bit over the top, massive box for what's in it. Seems wasteful. Otherwise the shades are spot on, fit the windows well and the magnetic attachment is much better than the suction cup ones I've used before.

Anika

Second time buying from these guys. First set was for my partner's car, now got a set for mine. Consistent quality, they last. The first set is still going strong after about 18 months so durability is not an issue. Magnets still hold just as well as day one.
