This set includes front-door panels — parked use only. Australian road rules don't allow shades on the front driver or passenger windows while you're driving. Fit them when the car is parked, and take them off before you drive. Rear-door and third-row panels are fine to leave on.

About these HONDA CR-V 2012-2016 sun shades
Family-hauler duty is exactly what Honda CR-V (2012–2016) sun shades are for: this mid-size SUV's tall side windows give kids and pets great views, and just as much sun exposure on a summer day.
The CR-V line-up spans a front pair, rear pair, third-row side pair and a boot/tailgate shade, plus combinations up to the complete all-windows set. Rear door shades cover child-seat rows; the boot shade keeps the cargo area cooler for dogs and groceries. These are shaped to the 2012–2016 generation's glass — other CR-V years have their own listings.
☑ Custom-measured on your exact car — Every shade is measured directly on each individual vehicle, then produced at the workshop, fitted to the car, and fine-tuned until it meets standard. Only the finished, fitted car is photographed before the product goes to market — so every product is precise, thanks to a closed-loop, specialised process.
☑ A genuine, gap-free fit — Exact dimensions mean the shades sit flush: clean-looking, with no gaps or warping and no damage to the door seals. Rear-door shades cover the whole door, while front-door shades are cut to leave just enough room to see your mirror, watch the road, and reach toll and parking cards.
☑ 100% black polyester mesh — The mesh blocks UV rays and cuts glare and cabin heat. Already have window film? Add these shades and you're set. No film yet? The shades alone are highly effective — there's no need to film your side windows (film the windscreen if you'd like).
☑ Fast on, fast off — Fitting and removing the shades is quick and simple. Even with the window down, the shade still blocks sun, dust, and insects. Best of all, from inside you can see out clearly, while from outside it is harder to see in.
Shades hold securely in normal driving — we recommend removing them at highway speeds.
About the HONDA CR-V 2012-2016 Fit
The fourth-generation CR-V (2012–2016) remains a popular used family SUV. This set is shaped to its rear door windows so coverage is edge-to-edge, blocking UV that fades the interior and cutting cabin heat on hot days.
HONDA CR-V 2012-2016 questions
- My CR-V is a used import — will it still fit?
- If it's the 2012–2016 generation, the rear window shape matches. If you're unsure, send us a photo of the rear door window and we'll confirm.
Build quality
Round 304 stainless, not flat steel
Most shades are framed with flat steel wire. It corrodes, and its edge works through the mesh at the fold. Ours is round-profile 304 stainless — it doesn't rust, and it doesn't cut the fabric it sits in.

Visibility
See out, without being seen
The mesh is open enough to see through from inside and dense enough to keep the cabin private from outside. Windows still wind down, and air still moves through.

What customers say
Can't fault the shades, they're well made and sit flush on the frame. But the courier left them at the wrong address and I had to go find them down the street. Not the product's fault obviously but the whole experience was a hassle. Shades are good though.
Value for money is spot on. Was looking at the tinted option but these were way cheaper and I can take them off whenever. Fitment is clean, no gaps around the edges. Delivery was quick, ordered Tuesday, here Thursday.
Grabbed a set for the front and rear. My 4 year old used to squint the whole drive and now she doesn't even mention it. Dead simple to install, honestly took longer to open the box. Been through a few car washes too and still sitting where I put them.
Pretty happy with these. They cut the heat down a fair bit and the magnet attachment is way better than those static cling ones I had before. Was on backorder for a few days before they shipped which was a bit annoying but got there in the end. Product is good.
Works exactly as described. Snaps onto the door frame, doesn't rattle around at speed, you can still see through them fine when checking blind spots. No dramas.
