Round 304 stainless, not flat steel
Most shades are framed with flat steel wire. It corrodes, and its edge works through the mesh at the fold. Ours is round-profile 304 stainless — it doesn't rust, and it doesn't cut the fabric it sits in.
Visibility
See out, without being seen
The mesh is open enough to see through from inside and dense enough to keep the cabin private from outside. Windows still wind down, and air still moves through.

What customers say
Solid shades. Magnets click right onto the frame and they don't budge. Been through a few car washes with them on too, still holding. Heat inside the car is noticeably less on sunny days. Can't ask for much more at this price.
Product is good no doubt about it, fits well and does block the heat. Ordered two sets though and one was on backorder with no indication on the product page. Ended up getting the second set about three weeks after the first. A heads up would've been nice.
Got these for my partner's car and she reckons they're the best she's had. Kids haven't complained about the sun once since they went on. Easy to clean too, just wipe them down.
Does what it says. Good fit on front and back windows. My only gripe is shipping took about 10 days to get to Perth which felt a bit long for something that should be straightforward. Shades are good quality though, no issues with the actual product.
Exactly what I wanted. Simple to put on and take off, strong hold, and they look tidy from outside too. Much better than those suction cup ones that fall off every five minutes.
