Most shades are framed with flat steel wire. It corrodes, and its edge works through the mesh at the fold. Ours is round-profile 304 stainless — it doesn't rust, and it doesn't cut the fabric it sits in.

The mesh is open enough to see through from inside and dense enough to keep the cabin private from outside. Windows still wind down, and air still moves through.

Product is fine, does what it says. Was on backorder for a while before they shipped which nobody told me about until I asked. Got them eventually and they're good shades, just would've been nice to know there was a delay.
I like that you can still wind the windows down with them on. That's the main thing I was after. Keeps the sun and heat down and doesn't block your view out. Fits well on all four doors.
These are decent. Had em about six weeks now through some hot weather in Melb and they've been on the whole time, no issues. Still sit tight, no sagging. Good buy.
Solid product, keeps the sun off the back seat passengers. Only thing is the box they came in was pretty smashed up, looked like it got thrown around in transit. Shades were fine inside though, just the packaging was a mess. Can't fault the actual shades, they work well.
Got these for my wife's car and she rates them. Two little ones in the back and it stops the sun getting in their eyes. Magnets are neat, you hardly notice them on the door frame. Came quick too, ordered on a Sunday and had them by Wednesday.
