Geely Coolray Sun Shades
The Coolray is one of the newer small SUVs on Australian roads, which means the universal shade on the shelf at the auto shop was not cut for it and the accessory catalogue has not caught up. Ours is patterned to the Coolray's own door glass.
The side windows on a small SUV sit high and upright, so a back-seat passenger gets a lot of direct sun across a whole trip. A shade cut to the frame covers the glass corner to corner, and because the magnetic border grips the steel door surround rather than sticking to the glass, the window still winds down behind it.

Fitment for your Geely Coolray
Shades are cut to the Coolray's door glass as sold here. The Coolray is also badged the Binyue in some markets, so if your car wears that name it is the same glass. If you are unsure which set you need, send us the build date from the compliance plate or the VIN and we will confirm it before anything is made.

Installation
- Match each shade to its window - they are cut per position and are not interchangeable.
- Bring the magnetic border up to the steel door frame and let it take hold.
- Press the edge flush all the way round so there is no light gap at the corners.
- Lift from one corner to remove, and store the set flat.

- Do these fit the Coolray sold in Australia?
- Yes - the patterns are cut to the Coolray's door glass as delivered here. If your car is badged Binyue it is the same vehicle and the same glass.
- Can I drive with the shades fitted?
- Use them on the rear door windows while driving. The windscreen and front side windows must stay clear of anything that obstructs the driver's view, so fit the front pair when the car is parked.
- Will the magnets mark the paint or the door trim?
- No. The magnets grip the steel inside the door frame through the shade's bound edge, and nothing adhesive touches the car. There are no suction cups to leave rings on the glass.
- The Coolray already has tinted rear glass. Is a shade still worth it?
- Factory tint cuts light more than heat. Mesh shades add real heat and UV reduction on top of the tint, and that is the part a rear passenger notices on a hot day.
- What if my set is showing as unavailable?
- Stock on newer models moves in batches. Get in touch with your build date or VIN and we will tell you when the next run of Coolray sets is cut.
