Hyundai Getz Window Shades
The Getz is still doing the rounds as a first car, a second car and a city runabout, and its short, upright cabin heats up faster than almost anything else in a car park. There is not much metal between the sun and the seats.

Installation
- Hold the shade up to the window with the mesh facing outward.
- Seat the top edge into the door surround first.
- Work down each side until the panel sits flat with no gap along the frame.
- To remove, lift one corner and draw it out - it folds flat for storage.

- Do these fit the three-door Getz as well as the five-door?
- The front door shades fit both. The rear door pair is for the five-door, since the three-door has fixed rear quarter glass rather than wind-down rear windows.
- Is the boot window shade worth adding?
- If the car is parked outdoors or you carry shopping, a pram or a dog in the back, yes - the tailgate glass on a Getz is large and close to horizontal, so it takes a lot of sun.
- Can I drive with them fitted?
