Peugeot 3008 Sun Shades (2016–2023)
The 3008 sells in Australia as a family SUV, which means the rear seats are usually the occupied ones and the rear glass is where the sun does its work. Peugeot's rear doors are deep and strongly shaped, with a rising window line that universal shades never follow cleanly. We cut panels to the 3008's actual outlines, and the 2016–2020 car and the 2021–2023 facelift are patterned separately.

Why Peugeot 3008 owners choose custom shades
Full-height coverage in the back
A panel cut to the door follows the 3008's rising window line to the top corner, rather than leaving the bright wedge a rectangular screen always misses.
A cooler cabin in the car park
The 3008's large glass area and dark interior trim make it a fast heat-soaker. Blocking the side glass takes the sting out before you get back in.
Comfortable for kids on long drives
Mesh across the rear doors keeps direct sun off a child seat without blacking the window out, so children can still see where they are going.
Protects the i-Cockpit trim
UV through the side windows is what fades and hardens dashboards and seat bolsters first — the parts a 3008 is judged on at resale.
Features
Two generations, two patterns
The 2016–2020 3008 and the 2021–2023 facelift are listed separately because the door glass and frame details differ.
Magnetic edge mounting
Magnets grip the steel frame around the glass. No suction cups on the window, nothing clipped to the door trim.
See-through black mesh
The mesh removes glare and UV while keeping the view out, so over-the-shoulder visibility is unaffected.
Seven-seat 5008 also covered
If you have the longer 5008 rather than the 3008, it has its own cut — the third row changes the rear glass completely.
Fitment for your Peugeot 3008
Choose by build year: 2016–2020 for the first Australian-delivered 3008, 2021–2023 for the facelift. If your car was built around the changeover, the compliance-plate date decides it — send it through and we will confirm the correct cut before dispatch.
Covers: Front driver and passenger windows, Rear passenger windows.
Installation
- Match each panel to its window — every piece is shaped for one position.
- Bring the magnetic border to the steel door frame and let it seat itself.
- Press the corners flat so no light comes through at the edges.
- Lift from a corner to remove; panels stack flat in the boot.
Peugeot 3008 sun shade FAQs
- Which set fits my 3008?
- Go by build year — 2016–2020 for the earlier car, 2021–2023 for the facelift. If you are between the two, the compliance-plate date settles it.
- Will the 3008 set fit a 5008?
- No. The 5008 is longer with a third row and different rear glass, so it has its own listing.
- Can I leave them on while driving?
- Rear-window shades can stay fitted on the road. Front-door shades are for use while parked.
- Do they work with factory tint?
- Yes. The shades mount to the door frame rather than the glass, so they sit over tint and add to it.
