If you've searched for Subaru XV sun shades and found the Crosstrek instead, you're in the right place — they're not two different Subarus. XV and Crosstrek are the same model lineage under different names. Subaru sold the car as the XV in Australia through its first generation (2012–2017) and second generation (2017–2022), while other markets already knew it as the Crosstrek; from the third generation (2023 onwards) Subaru standardised on the Crosstrek name worldwide, and Subaru Australia introduced it as the next-generation XV.
Same lineage doesn't mean same windows, though. The greenhouse looks similar across generations, but the door-glass apertures changed — so sun shades are patterned per generation, and a set cut for one won't sit flush on another.
