Round 304 stainless, not flat steel
Most shades are framed with flat steel wire. It corrodes, and its edge works through the mesh at the fold. Ours is round-profile 304 stainless — it doesn't rust, and it doesn't cut the fabric it sits in.
Visibility
See out, without being seen
The mesh is open enough to see through from inside and dense enough to keep the cabin private from outside. Windows still wind down, and air still moves through.

Does exactly what you'd want. Slight delay in shipping but not a big deal. The rear ones fit better than the front on my car but both do the job. Would recommend to anyone dealing with the afternoon sun.
Had these about eight weeks now. Two kids under four and the difference in the back is night and day. No more sun in their eyes, no more melting in the car seat. Magnets are still as strong as day one.
Can't fault the shades, they fit well and do exactly what they should. Ordered on a Sunday and they didn't ship until the following Friday. No communication about the delay either. Would've been nice to get an email or something.
Bought these on a whim and glad I did. The difference when you get in the car after it's been sitting in the sun all day is pretty significant. Seats aren't as hot, steering wheel isn't burning. For the price can't go wrong.
Was a bit sceptical about how well magnets would hold at highway speeds but no problems at all. Even with windows down a crack they stay on. Blocks enough UV that my arms aren't getting cooked on the drive home from work.
