Ford EcoSport Sun Shades
The EcoSport's tall, upright glass lets in plenty of sun, and in a small SUV the rear passengers and child seats sit right beside it. Shades cut to the EcoSport's windows cover the whole opening and keep the cabin cooler while it is parked.
There are two sets:
- EcoSport (earlier set): front door pair, rear door pair, four-piece set, a boot/tailgate shade, and combinations of doors plus boot.
- EcoSport 2021–2024: front door pair, rear door pair, or the four-piece set.
The boot shade is handy for keeping shopping or a travelling dog out of direct sun.

Measured on the vehicle
Each pattern is taken from a real EcoSport, produced at the workshop, fitted back to the car and adjusted until it sits flush in the frame. The finished, fitted car is what gets photographed.
Rubber mounting on the earlier set
The manufacturer records the earlier EcoSport set as rubber-mounted in the window frame. Nothing is stuck to the glass.
100% black polyester mesh
Dense enough to cut glare, UV and cabin heat, open enough to see out of from inside. From outside it reads like darker glass.
Two patterns by build year
The 2021–2024 car has its own set, separate from the earlier pattern.
Fitment for your Ford EcoSport
We make two EcoSport sets. The 2021–2024 set covers the four door windows. The earlier set covers the four door windows and the boot/tailgate glass and is rubber-mounted in the frame; its listing does not state build years, so compare the product photos with your car or send us the VIN or build-plate date and we will confirm which set you need. Neither set covers EcoSports built after 2024.

Installation
- Wipe the window frame clean so the shade seats evenly.
- Offer the shade up to the opening, top edge first.
- Work around the frame, pressing the edge in until it sits flush with no gaps.
- Store the shades flat when they are off the car so the edges stay true.

- Which EcoSport set do I need?
- If your EcoSport was built 2021–2024, choose the 2021–2024 set. For earlier cars, choose the other set, and if you are not sure, send us the VIN or the build date from the door-jamb plate and we will confirm.
- Is there a boot shade for the 2021–2024 EcoSport?
- Not at the moment. The boot/tailgate shade is part of the earlier set only.
- Will they work if my windows are already tinted?
- Yes. The shades sit in the window frame, not on the glass, so film or factory privacy glass makes no difference to the fit. Tint works on the glass and the mesh covers the opening, so the two together cut more heat and glare than either alone.
- Are the front-door shades meant to stay on while I drive?
- No. The front pair is for when the car is parked, to keep the sun off the dash, seats and steering wheel. Take the front shades off before you drive. The rear-door shades are the ones that look after passengers on the trip.
