Kia Grand Carnival Sun Shades (2015–2021)
Also known as: Sedona, Carnival (YP)
Few vehicles carry as many passengers in the sun as a people mover. In the 2015–2021 Grand Carnival there are kids in the second row, more in the third, and often a pram or the family dog in the boot, all beside big panes of glass.
These shades are cut to this generation's windows and cover every row:
- Front door pair and rear (sliding) door pair
- Third-row side windows
- Boot / tailgate window
They are sold singly or in combinations, up to a complete all-windows set. Carrying passengers in every row? The complete set is the one. Otherwise, start with the rear doors and third row, where the kids actually sit.

Why Kia Grand Carnival owners choose custom shades
Every row covered
Rear door, third-row and tailgate shades mean the passengers furthest back get the same protection as the second row.
Cooler seats after parking
A people mover has a lot of glass. Covering it while parked keeps heat out of the seats and trim before the school pick-up.
Good for the boot too
The tailgate shade keeps direct sun off whatever is in the cargo area, from shopping to a travelling dog.
No suction cups, no adhesive
The shades sit in the window frames and come off in seconds, so they are easy to move around as seating changes.
Features
Measured on the vehicle
Each pattern is taken from a real Grand Carnival, produced at the workshop, fitted back to the car and adjusted until it sits flush in the frame. The finished, fitted car is what gets photographed.
Single pieces or a complete set
From a $49.99 pair up to the complete all-windows set, with rear-plus-third-row and boot combinations in between.
100% black polyester mesh
Dense enough to cut glare, UV and cabin heat, open enough to see out of from inside. From outside it reads like darker glass.
Cut for this generation only
The pattern is specific to the 2015–2021 car, so it is not a compromise across Carnival generations.
Fitment for your Kia Grand Carnival
Cut for the 2015–2021 Kia Grand Carnival, the generation also sold as the Sedona and, in Australia, as the Carnival (YP). The newer Carnival that arrived in 2020–2021 has different glass and its own set on our Kia Carnival page, so if your car is a 2020 or 2021, check the build plate on the door jamb or send us the VIN to confirm which one you have. Third-row and tailgate shades are available as well as the four door windows.
Covers: Front door windows (2 pcs), Rear sliding door windows (2 pcs), Third-row side windows (2 pcs), Boot / tailgate window.
Installation
- Wipe the window frame clean so the shade seats evenly.
- Offer the shade up to the opening, top edge first.
- Work around the frame, pressing the edge in until it sits flush with no gaps.
- Store the shades flat when they are off the car so the edges stay true.
Kia Grand Carnival sun shade FAQs
- Is this the same car as the Kia Sedona?
- Yes. The 2015–2021 generation was sold as the Sedona and Grand Carnival in other markets and as the Carnival (YP) here. This set is cut for that generation.
- My Carnival is a 2020 or 2021. Which set do I need?
- Both generations were sold around then. Check the build plate on the door jamb or send us the VIN and we will confirm whether you need this set or the newer Carnival set.
- Which pieces should I buy for a full car of kids?
- The rear doors plus third-row combination covers both passenger rows. Add the tailgate shade if the boot carries a pram or a dog, or take the complete set to cover every window.
- Are the front-door shades meant to stay on while I drive?
- No. The front pair is for when the car is parked, to keep the sun off the dash, seats and steering wheel. Take the front shades off before you drive. The rear-door shades are the ones that look after passengers on the trip.
