Range Rover Evoque Sun Shades
The Evoque is the hardest kind of car to shade with anything off the shelf. Its window line climbs steeply towards the rear and the roof drops to meet it, so no two door openings are the same shape and none of them is close to a rectangle. The rear door glass in particular is shallow and strongly wedged - the shape that makes the car look the way it does, and the shape that leaves a universal panel either standing proud at the top corner or short along the bottom. Cut to the actual opening, a shade follows that wedge and sits flat in the seal, which matters on an Evoque because the back seat is already the darker, more enclosed part of the cabin and any gap puts a hard band of sun straight across it.

Why Land Rover Range Rover Evoque owners choose custom shades
Follows the Evoque's wedge, not a rectangle
Every door on this car tapers. A panel measured to the real opening sits in the seal along its whole length; an approximated one bridges the narrow end and gaps at the wide one, which is the single most common complaint about generic shades on an Evoque.
A cooler cabin on a car with a lot of dark trim
Evoques are commonly specified with dark leather and a panoramic roof, both of which hold heat. Cutting the side sun reduces how hot those surfaces get in the first place, so the car is less punishing to get into after a day parked out.
Better rear seat for kids
The Evoque's rear windows are small and sit low relative to a child seat, which puts a seated child's head near the top of the glass. Full-opening coverage is what keeps the sun off a face rather than just off a shoulder.
No marks on the glass
Magnets hold the panel to the steel door surround, so nothing adheres to the window. On dark privacy glass that matters - suction cups leave visible rings and tend to let go once the cabin warms up.
Features
Measured on the vehicle
Each panel is taken from an actual Evoque, produced, refitted and corrected until it sits flush. With this body shape there is no shortcut: the only way to get the wedge right is to measure it.
Front panels cut to keep the mirror clear
The front-door shades stop short of the mirror line so the driver keeps a clear view down each flank, and there is still room to reach a toll tag.
100% black polyester mesh
Dense enough to cut glare and UV, open enough to see out of from inside. From outside it reads as tint, which is useful when the Evoque is parked with gear in the boot.
On and off in seconds
No tools, no adhesive. The panels also stay put with the window wound down, so you can have airflow without the sun, dust or insects.
Fitment for your Land Rover Range Rover Evoque
This listing is measured for the first-generation Evoque, the car sold here from 2013 to 2018. The second-generation Evoque introduced in 2019 has different door glass and is not covered by the same panels. Three-door Coupe and five-door bodies also differ. Send us your build plate details before ordering and we will confirm which set matches your car. If your Evoque has the panoramic roof, ask about a roof panel separately - it is a different, insulated product and is not part of the door sets.
Covers: Front door windows (2 pcs), Rear door windows (2 pcs), Front and rear door windows (4 pcs).
Installation
- Wipe the door frame down so the magnets seat cleanly.
- Start at the narrow end of the opening and let the magnets take the panel.
- Work along the frame towards the wide end, pressing the edge into the rubber.
- Check the front panels leave your mirror view clear before setting off.
- Store the panels flat - folding them along the wedge distorts the edge.
Land Rover Range Rover Evoque sun shade FAQs
- Will these fit the 2019-onwards Evoque?
- No. The second-generation car has different door glass. These panels are measured for the 2013-2018 Evoque. Send us your build plate and we will tell you which generation you have before you order.
- Does the three-door Coupe take the same shades as the five-door?
- No. The Coupe's single long door opening is a different shape to the five-door's front door, and it has no rear door glass. Tell us which body you have and we will confirm the set.
- Are they legal to use while driving in Australia?
- On the rear door windows, yes, in every state and territory. On the front doors the driver must keep a clear view of the road and both side mirrors, which is why the front panels are cut short of the mirror line. Nothing goes over the windscreen while the car is moving.
- My Evoque already has factory privacy glass. Is there any point?
- Yes. Privacy glass darkens the view in but does comparatively little about radiant heat. The mesh covers the whole opening and cuts the heat and glare before they reach the glass, so the two work together rather than overlapping.
- Will the magnets damage the paint on the door frame?
- No. The contact edge is fabric, not bare magnet, and the panel is lifted off rather than dragged. Keep grit off the frame and the edge when you refit, the same as you would with any accessory that touches paint.
