The GLC is the family Mercedes — school drop-off, weekend sport, the odd trip up the coast. It sits high with a lot of glass down each side, and behind the rear doors there is a fixed quarter pane most shade sets simply ignore. That pane throws sun straight across the back seat and into the boot. We cut panels for all of it, patterned to the GLC's own window shapes, so the second row is shaded on the move and the cabin isn't a furnace after a day in an open car park.

The fixed pane behind each rear door is the one universal shades skip. On the GLC we make a pair cut for it, so the shaded area doesn't stop halfway along the back seat.

Fitment for your Mercedes-Benz GLC
We make GLC shades for two generations: 2016–2022 and 2023–2025. Between them that is continuous coverage from 2016 onwards, but a GLC built before 2016 is outside what we cut — if that's you, send us the build year and we'll tell you honestly rather than sell you a set that won't sit right. Both generations get the same range of pieces: front door pair, rear door pair, rear quarter pair, boot/tailgate panel, and combination sets up to the complete kit. The window shapes changed between the two, so order by build year, and send us the VIN if your car sits near the 2022/2023 change and you'd like us to check first.

Installation
- Match each panel to its window — door, quarter and boot panels are all shaped differently.
- Hold the magnetic border up to the steel frame around the glass and let it pull on.
- Run a finger around the edge so it sits flush into the corners of the frame.
- Peel from one corner to remove, then fold flat into the door pocket or boot side bin.

- Which GLC set fits my car?
- Order by build year — 2016–2022 or 2023–2025. The glass shapes differ between them. If your GLC is a 2022 or 2023 build, send us the VIN and we'll confirm which pattern matches before we ship.
- Do you cover the small windows behind the rear doors?
- Yes. Both GLC generations have a rear quarter window pair, sold on its own, with the rear doors as a four-piece, or as part of the six-piece and complete sets.
- Is there a shade for the boot glass?
- Yes — a boot/tailgate panel is listed for both generations, on its own or bundled with the rear doors. It's the one people add when the boot carries anything worth keeping out of sight and out of the heat.
- Can I leave them on while driving?
- The rear, quarter and boot shades are made to stay on. Fit the front pair while the car is parked — to pre-cool it before you get in — and take them off before you drive so the front side windows are clear.
- Will they mark the paint or the glass?
- They shouldn't — the magnets sit on the painted steel frame, not on the glass, and there is no adhesive involved. Wipe grit off the frame before fitting, the same as you would before wiping down a door.
