Mercedes-Benz C200 Sun Shades (2008–2025)
Also known as: Mercedes-Benz C200
The C200 is the C-Class most Australians actually buy — a compact sedan doing school runs and city commutes rather than long touring. It has a low roofline and deep side glass, so a rear passenger sits close to the window and a low westerly sun lands squarely on them. Leave it in an open car park through a Sydney or Brisbane summer day and the leather is too hot to sit on. Our panels are cut to the C200's own window outlines and hold on magnetically, so the back seat is shaded on the drive and the cabin is bearable when you get back in.

Why Mercedes-Benz C200 owners choose custom shades
Keeps the leather out of direct sun
Light-coloured C200 interiors show heat damage first — a dashboard top and the outboard edge of a rear seat cop the most sun. Shading the glass keeps direct light off the trim rather than letting it bake all afternoon.
Shade exactly where a child seat sits
In a car this size the child seat is hard up against the rear door glass. The rear pair is cut to that window, so the shade covers it corner to corner instead of leaving a bright strip at the top.
Cuts low-sun glare on the commute
The C200's side glass sits low and close to the passenger. A late-afternoon sun comes in under the roofline and straight at eye level in the back — mesh takes the sting out of it without blacking out the view.
Nothing stuck to the glass
The panels grip the steel frame and lift straight off. No film, no adhesive, no suction marks — the car goes back to standard in seconds for a service, a valet or a trade-in.
Features
Cut to C200 door glass
Each generation of the C200 has its own window outline, and each is patterned separately. The panel follows the curve of the frame rather than sitting square across the middle of the glass.
Magnetic mounting, no suction cups
The border grips the painted steel frame around the door glass. Nothing sticks to the window, and nothing drops into the door card halfway down the motorway.
See-through mesh
Like a fly screen — passengers can still watch the road go by and you keep a usable view in the mirrors, while the bulk of direct sun and glare is blocked.
Off in seconds, stores flat
Lift a corner and the panel comes away. They fold flat into a C200 door pocket or under the parcel shelf, so they live in the car rather than in the garage.
Fitment for your Mercedes-Benz C200
We cut this for the C200 specifically, not for every C-Class variant, and there are three sets: 2008–2015, 2016–2021 and 2022–2025. That covers 2008 onwards without a break, but a C200 built before 2008 is not something we have a pattern for — send us the build year and we'll tell you honestly whether we can cut it. The coverage differs between the three, so check before you order: the 2008–2015 set adds a boot window shade to the door panels; the 2016–2021 set is door windows only, with no boot or quarter pieces; and the 2022–2025 set is the fullest, adding both the small fixed quarter windows behind the rear doors and a boot window. If you are not sure which generation you have, send us the build year or the VIN and we'll match it.
Covers: Front driver and passenger door windows, Rear passenger door windows, Rear quarter windows — the fixed panes behind the rear doors (2022–2025 only), Boot / tailgate glass (2008–2015 and 2022–2025).
Installation
- Match each panel to its window — the front and rear door shapes are different.
- Hold the magnetic border up to the steel frame around the glass and let it pull on.
- Run a finger around the edge so it sits flush into the corners of the frame.
- Peel from one corner to remove, then fold flat into the door pocket.
Mercedes-Benz C200 sun shade FAQs
- Which C200 set do I need?
- Go by build year: 2008–2015, 2016–2021 or 2022–2025. The body shape changed between them and the panels are not interchangeable. If your car sits near the join of two ranges, send us the VIN and we'll confirm before it ships.
- Do you make a boot window shade for the C200?
- For the 2008–2015 and 2022–2025 sets, yes — a boot window panel is listed on its own and in combination sets with the rear doors. The 2016–2021 set is door windows only.
- What about the small fixed windows behind the rear doors?
- Those quarter panes are covered on the 2022–2025 C200, either as a pair on their own or as part of the six-piece and complete sets. They are not part of the 2008–2015 or 2016–2021 range.
- Will this fit any C-Class?
- We list it as a C200 fit and that's how we'd like you to treat it. If you have another C-Class variant, message us with the build year and VIN and we'll tell you whether the door glass is the same shape rather than guessing on your behalf.
- Can I leave them on while driving?
- The rear shades are made to stay on. Fit the front pair while the car is parked — to pre-cool it before you get in — and take them off before you drive so the front side windows are clear.
