Skoda Karoq Window Shades
The Karoq is the smaller of Skoda's two mainstream SUVs, and its rear door glass is tall and almost upright. That shape is good for visibility and bad for afternoon sun, which lands squarely on whoever is sitting in the back rather than glancing off at an angle.
These shades are cut to the Karoq's own door apertures, so they sit flush to the frame with no gap along the bottom of the glass. If you carry children, the rear pair is the set that earns its keep first.

Why Skoda Karoq owners choose custom shades
Cut to the Karoq's upright rear glass
A universal shade sized for a sloping window leaves a wedge of unshaded glass at the bottom of a Karoq rear door. A pattern cut on the car does not, which is the whole point of buying model-specific.
Magnets, not suction cups
The frame grips the door surround. Nothing sticks to the glass, so nothing lets go when the window surface heats up on a hot day in an open car park.
Wind the window down with it fitted
The glass drops behind the shade. With the window open the mesh still blocks sun and keeps insects and dust out of the back seat.
See-through black mesh
Passengers keep their view out and you keep yours in the mirror. From outside the car it is considerably harder to see in.
Features
Measured on a real Karoq
The pattern is taken off an actual vehicle, cut at the workshop, refitted and adjusted until the edges are right. The finished shade is photographed on the car before the listing goes live.
Buy by row
Front door pair $49.99, rear door pair $59.99, or all four doors for $99.99. Rear-only is the common choice for family cars; the four-piece set makes more sense if the Karoq lives outside.
Front shades keep the mirror clear
The front pair is cut short of the mirror line so your wing mirror stays visible and you can still reach a parking or toll card. Front shades are for use while parked.
Fitment for your Skoda Karoq
One set covers the Karoq as sold in Australia. The 2022 facelift changed the bumpers and lights but not the door apertures, so a pre-facelift and a facelifted Karoq take the same shades. If you have the Karoq Sportline, the glass is the same as the standard car.
Covers: Front door windows, Rear door windows.
Installation
- Line the top edge of the shade up with the top of the door window frame.
- Press the frame onto the door surround from the top corners downwards so the magnets seat evenly.
- Check along the bottom edge for any gap before you drive off.
- To take it off, lift a top corner and peel the shade away in one movement, then store it flat.
Skoda Karoq sun shade FAQs
- Does the 2022 facelift need a different set?
- No. The facelift changed the front and rear styling but not the door apertures, so one set covers the Karoq across its Australian run.
- Will these fit a Karoq Sportline?
- Yes. The Sportline is a trim level, not a different body, and the door glass is identical to the standard Karoq.
- Are Skoda Karoq window shades legal in Australia?
- Rear door shades are legal in every state and may stay fitted while you drive. Front door shades are intended for a parked car and should be removed before driving, because nothing may obstruct your view through the front side windows or mirrors.
- Do they cover the boot window?
- Not on this model. The Karoq sets listed here cover the front and rear door windows. If you need the tailgate glass covered as well, get in touch and we will measure it.
- Is it worth it if the car already has privacy glass?
- Yes. Privacy glass reduces visible light but very little heat, and it does nothing for low sun coming in side-on late in the day. The shades work alongside it.
