Jaecoo J5 Sun Shades

The J5 is a newcomer to Australian roads, and like any small SUV it puts rear passengers close to a lot of side glass. Shades cut to the J5's own windows take the edge off glare and heat for the back seat and keep the cabin cooler while it is parked.

Fitment for your Jaecoo J5
Cut for the Jaecoo J5 small SUV. The sets cover the four door windows, the small side windows behind the rear doors (listed on the product page as third-row side windows; the J5 itself is a five-seater) and the tailgate glass. The J5 is new to Australia, so if your car is a later build or a different variant, send us the VIN or build plate details and we will confirm nothing has changed in the glass. Installation
- Wipe the window frame clean so the shade seats evenly.
- Offer the shade up to the opening, top edge first.
- Work around the frame, pressing the edge in until it sits flush with no gaps.
- Store the shades flat when they are off the car so the edges stay true.

- The product page mentions third-row windows. Does the J5 have a third row?
- No, the J5 is a five-seater. The "third-row side windows" option on the product page is the pair of small side windows behind the rear doors.
- Do these fit the Jaecoo J7?
- No. The J7 is a different car with different glass and has its own set.
- Will they work if my windows are already tinted?
- Yes. The shades sit in the window frame, not on the glass, so film or factory privacy glass makes no difference to the fit. Tint works on the glass and the mesh covers the opening, so the two together cut more heat and glare than either alone.
- Are the front-door shades meant to stay on while I drive?
- No. The front pair is for when the car is parked, to keep the sun off the dash, seats and steering wheel. Take the front shades off before you drive. The rear-door shades are the ones that look after passengers on the trip.
