Custom-Fit Sun Shades for the Jaecoo J7
The J7 only reached Australian showrooms in 2024, which is the whole problem with shading it. Walk into an auto shop and the universal screens on the rack were patterned years before this car existed — they will overhang the frame or leave the rear corner bare.
We cut a set for the J7's own door windows. The mesh finishes against the door surround, and the magnetic border grips the painted frame rather than the glass, so nothing presses on the factory privacy tint and nothing lets go after a hot afternoon.
If your J7 has the panoramic roof, that is a separate panel — a glass roof that size is where most of the cabin heat arrives on a summer day. From $49.99 a pair, delivered Australia-wide.

Why Jaecoo J7 owners choose custom shades
A cut that exists for a car this new
Most shades sold in Australia were patterned for the cars that have been here a decade. The J7's rear door aperture is its own shape and needs its own pattern.
The panoramic roof is covered separately
The J7's glass roof is a large uninsulated panel directly above the cabin. A roof shade does more for cabin temperature on a parked car than the door panels do.
Does not touch the privacy tint
The frame is magnetic and sits on the painted door surround. No suction cups on the glass, nothing to mark the tint, nothing to re-press.
Features
Cut for the J7's door glass
Patterned to the car rather than approximated from a size bracket, so the mesh reaches the edge of the frame.
Separate panoramic roof panel
Listed on its own, because not every J7 has the glass roof.
See-through mesh
Cuts glare and direct sun on the second row while passengers keep the view out.
Also sold as the Omoda Jaecoo J7
Badged variously as Jaecoo J7, Omoda Jaecoo J7 and Chery Jaecoo J7 depending on the dealer. They are the same car and the same cut.
Fitment for your Jaecoo J7
Cut for Jaecoo J7 front and rear door windows, 2024 onwards. The car is sold in Australia under several badge arrangements — Jaecoo J7, Omoda Jaecoo J7 and Chery Jaecoo J7 — and the glass is the same on all of them. The panoramic roof panel is a separate listing and is not included in the window set. Super Hybrid and petrol variants share the same body and the same door glass.
Covers: Rear driver-side door window, Rear passenger-side door window, Front driver-side door window, Front passenger-side door window, Panoramic glass roof (separate panel).
Installation
- Choose the window set, the roof panel, or both.
- Hold a door panel against the window frame, top edge first.
- Let the magnetic border pull onto the painted door surround.
- Press the corners flat so the mesh sits taut rather than bowed.
- Fit the roof panel against the headliner surround if you have ordered one.
Jaecoo J7 sun shade FAQs
- Is the Jaecoo J7 the same as the Omoda Jaecoo J7?
- Yes. Depending on the dealer and the year it has been badged Jaecoo J7, Omoda Jaecoo J7 and Chery Jaecoo J7. It is one car with one set of glass, so the same cut applies however yours is badged.
- Does the window set include the panoramic roof?
- No. The roof panel is a separate listing because not every J7 has the glass roof. If yours does, it is worth adding - a roof that size lets in more heat than the doors do.
- Will these fit the J7 Super Hybrid?
- Yes. The hybrid and petrol J7 share the same body shell and the same door glass, so there is one cut for both.
- Can I leave the rear shades up while driving?
- Yes, on the rear side windows. Keep the windscreen and the two front door windows clear while the car is moving - every Australian state and territory prohibits obstructing the driver's view.
