The Corolla has been sold in Australia across enough generations that "Corolla" on its own is not enough information to order from. The glass changed shape at every generational break, so the shades are cut per generation and the build year is what decides which set you need.

Find your build year

Check the compliance plate or the build date sticker in the driver's door jamb. Use the build year, not the year you bought it or the year on the registration — a car built late in one year is frequently sold and first registered in the next, and that is the single most common reason a set arrives that does not fit.

The years with no set listed

Two ranges are worth stating plainly, because a table that quietly skips them wastes your time:

• 2001. The listed ranges run to 2000 and pick up again at 2002. If your Corolla was built in 2001, neither adjacent set is listed as covering it.
• Before 1997. The catalogue starts at 1997.

If you are in one of those gaps, ask before ordering rather than buying the nearest year range and hoping. Both are a snapshot of what is listed today, not a statement that a set will never exist.

Corolla Cross and Corolla Matrix are different vehicles

Three names in the range share the Corolla badge and none of them share glass:

• Corolla Cross is a separate SUV body on its own listing. It has its own page: Corolla Cross sun shades. A Corolla hatch or sedan set is not the same cut.
• Corolla Matrix is listed separately as Matrix, without a year range.
• Corolla Altis is not a different car. It is the name the Corolla carries in a number of export markets, and it appears as an alias on all five generation listings above. If your car is a grey import badged Altis, match on the build year exactly as you would for a local-delivery Corolla.
