Lexus Window Shades Australia: All 16 Fits, and Four RX Generations Covered End to End
Lexus model names are codes, and the codes move. An RX350 can be a 2004 car or a 2024 car. An NX can be an NX200t, an NX300 or an NX350 depending on the year and the drivetrain. If you are ordering shades cut to the exact shape of your glass, that ambiguity is the whole problem.
Auto Sunshades cuts 16 Lexus models, all from $49.99 a set. The good news is that the two models Australians buy most — RX and NX — are the two we cover most carefully.
The RX: four cuts, no gaps, 2003 to 2025
This is the deepest single-nameplate coverage in our Lexus list, and it runs continuously across four generations without a missing year:
| Listing | Years | Product |
|---|---|---|
| RX330 / RX350 | 2003–2008 | /products/lexus-rx330-rx350-2003-2008 |
| RX350 | 2009–2015 | /products/lexus-rx350-2009-2015 |
| RX350 | 2016–2022 | /products/lexus-rx350-2016-2022 |
| RX350 | 2023–2025 | /products/lexus-rx350-2023-2025 |
Two things to take from that table.
The oldest listing covers two badges. The 2003–2008 cut is the RX330 and the RX350 — Lexus changed the engine and therefore the number partway through that generation, but the body and the glass did not change. One cut serves both. If your car is badged RX330, that is your listing.
The generation boundaries are hard, not soft. 2008 to 2009 and 2022 to 2023 are full body changes. If you are on one of those boundary years, go by build date rather than compliance year — a set cut for the outgoing shape will not sit correctly on the incoming one.
There is no RX cut before 2003, and none yet past 2025.
The NX: two cuts, three badges
| Listing | Years | Product |
|---|---|---|
| NX200t / NX300 | 2015–2021 | /products/lexus-nx200t-nx300-2015-2021 |
| NX350 | 2022–2025 | /products/lexus-nx350-2022-2025 |
Same pattern as the RX330/RX350 pairing: the NX200t and the NX300 are the same body — the badge changed with the engine, not the glass — so one cut covers both. Australians who bought an NX between 2015 and 2021 will have one of those two badges, and either points at the first listing.
The 2022 changeover is a full generation change, so the NX350 listing is a genuinely different cut, not a facelift adjustment. There is no NX cut before 2015.

The big wagons, and why a LandCruiser set is not an LX set
| Listing | Years | Product |
|---|---|---|
| LX570 | 2008–2022 | /products/lexus-lx570-2008-2022 |
| LX600 | single cut, no year split | /products/lexus-lx600 |
| GX470 | single cut, no year split | /products/lexus-gx470 |
| GX460 | single cut, no year split | /products/lexus-gx460 |
| GX550 | single cut, no year split | /products/lexus-gx550 |
The LX570 is our longest single Lexus year range — one cut spanning 2008 to 2022, which reflects how little that wagon's glass changed across its life. The LX600 that replaced it is listed separately.
It is worth being clear about the Toyota relationship, because it is the most common assumption we get asked about. The LX shares its underpinnings with the LandCruiser and the GX with the Prado — but our catalogue lists them as separate products with separate cuts, and you should treat them that way. Different door pressings, different mirrors, different glass edges. Ordering a LandCruiser set for an LX570 is not a shortcut, it is a return. If you own the Toyota rather than the Lexus, our Toyota page has all 63 of those cuts.
Also note the three GX listings are split by badge (GX470, GX460, GX550) rather than by year, and each is a single cut. That is Lexus's own generational sequence expressed as model numbers, so the badge on your tailgate is doing the work a year range would normally do.
The cars: CT, IS, ES, LS, and the LM
| Listing | Alias | Product |
|---|---|---|
| CT200h | CT200 | /products/lexus-ct200h |
| IS250 | /products/lexus-is250 | |
| ES250 | /products/lexus-es250 | |
| LS460 | /products/lexus-ls460 | |
| LM 500h | /products/lexus-lm-500h |
None of these five is split by year. That means the product page's fitment note, not a year range, is the thing to check against your car — particularly for the IS250 and the ES250, both of which ran across more than one body shape under the same badge in different markets.
The LM 500h is the odd one out: a van-bodied people mover rather than a sedan, so its set includes the rear-cabin glass that none of the others have.
What a Lexus set covers
Every set on this page is cut for front doors, rear doors, the boot or tailgate glass, third-row quarter windows where the vehicle has them, and the fixed port window behind the rear door. There is no windscreen piece in any of them — that is a separate product category and we cover it separately.
On the LX, GX and the LM, the third-row and port pieces are the ones that matter most in an Australian summer, because they cover the part of the cabin that sits behind the air conditioning's best effort. On the RX and NX, the rear door pair does most of the work — those are the windows a rear-facing child seat looks straight into. Our guide to shades and babies covers what to look for there.
If your car came with factory privacy glass, it is easy to assume the back of the cabin is already handled. It is not the same thing: privacy tint changes what people outside can see, and does far less about what reaches a passenger. The UV guide has the detail.
Ordering
- RX? Pick the generation by build year — the four cuts cover 2003 to 2025 with no gaps.
- NX? NX200t or NX300 means the 2015–2021 set. NX350 means the 2022–2025 set.
- LX or GX? Order the Lexus listing, not the LandCruiser or Prado one.
- CT, IS, ES, LS or LM? Single cut each — read the fitment note on the product page before ordering.
Every one of the 16 is from $49.99. If you are weighing this against the other custom-fit brands available here, the alternatives round-up is the comparison, including the models where we would point you elsewhere.
