Subaru buyers tend to keep their cars a long time and drive them a long way, which is how a Forester ends up with a decade of school runs and one very sun-faded child seat. We cut five Subaru sets: two Forester generations, the Outback, the current Crosstrek and the Tribeca. This page is which one your car takes — and, because it comes up, which Subarus have no cut at all.

The five Subaru cuts
| Vehicle | Build years | Also searched as | Windows we cut | Product |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Forester | 2012–2017 | Forester SJ | Front and rear doors | Forester 2012–2017 |
| Forester | 2018–2025 | Forester SK | Doors, rear quarter glass, boot | Forester 2018–2025 |
| Outback | — | Liberty wagon | Doors, boot | Outback |
| Crosstrek | 2023–present | — | Front and rear doors | Crosstrek 2023–present |
| Tribeca | 2006–2014 | B9 Tribeca | Front and rear doors | Tribeca 2006–2014 |
Door pairs are $49.99 for the front and $59.99 for the rear, or $99.99 for all four. Where the listing has them, the quarter-glass pair is $49.99 and the boot panel $59.99. The model pages — Forester, Outback and Crosstrek — carry the same listings.
Every one of these mounts magnetically on the painted steel of the door frame. Subaru has kept framed doors on all five, which is not something we can say for every make.
The Forester boundary
The Forester changed body in Australia late in 2018, and our two listings meet there with no overlap: 2012–2017 and 2018–2025. A 2018 Forester is the newer SK unless it was built early in the year, so if yours is a 2018, check the build month on the compliance plate before ordering rather than the year on the papers. There is a guide to reading the plate if you have not done it before.
The two Foresters also differ in what we cut. The older SJ is door pairs only. The SK gets the full set of positions: the fixed quarter pane behind the rear door, listed as "Third-Row Side Windows" for reasons explained on the third-row and quarter-glass page, and a panel for the tailgate glass. If you tour with the boot loaded, the SK is the Forester that can have the back of the car covered.
The Outback has one listing, so tell us the year
The Outback is listed once, without a year range, and that is worth being honest about. The car changed body in 2015 and again in 2021. When you order an Outback set, put the build year in the order notes — we will match the pattern to the body you have, and if there is any doubt we will ask before anything is cut.
The Subarus with no cut
- XV, 2012–2022. The Crosstrek is the same car renamed, but our Crosstrek listing is cut for the 2023-on body only. There is no XV set in the catalogue. If you have an XV, it is not a case of ordering the Crosstrek and hoping.
- Impreza, Liberty sedan, WRX, Levorg, BRZ. None of these are listed. The Outback listing does not cover the Liberty sedan; the glass is different behind the rear door.
- Forester before 2012. The 2008–2012 SH and earlier cars have no listing.
If your Subaru is on this list, we cannot supply it at any price for now. Ask anyway — the list of what gets cut next is built from what people ask for.
Ordering
Check the build year on the plate, take the matching listing above, and for an Outback put the year in the notes. Sets not on the shelf are made to order, usually one to two weeks. The full Subaru list has the same five.
