GWM and Haval Sun Shades: Cannon, Jolion, H6

Auto Sunshades Team

We list three GWM-family cars that are common on Australian roads: the Haval H6, the Haval Jolion and the GWM Cannon. They aren't at the same stage, and this page says so plainly. The H6 set comes from our manufacturer's own pattern. The Jolion and Cannon listings are newer and we don't have workshop photos of either yet, so for those two we ask for a quick photo before you order.

The Chinese brands overview has the BYD, MG and Omoda sets. This page goes further into the GWM range.

Door pairs are $49.99 for the front and $59.99 for the rear, or $99.99 for all four. The quarter glass pair is $49.99 and the tailgate panel (the cab window, on the Cannon) is $59.99. The combinations step up from there to $199.99 for every window on the H6 or Jolion. The GWM and Haval brand pages hold the same listings.

None of the three listings has a year range. With most cars we cut, a missing range means the car has only had one body in Australia. That's not quite true for the H6, so read that section before ordering.

Haval H6

The H6 is the one of the three we're most sure of. Our manufacturer has a full-car pattern for it, so the listing offers every position: front doors, rear doors, the small fixed pane behind each rear door, and the tailgate glass.

The listing calls that small pane "Third-Row Side Windows". The H6 has five seats and no third row. On this car the name means the quarter glass behind the rear doors. The quarter-glass post explains the naming. Doors are on the shelf now. The quarter glass and tailgate pieces, and every combination that includes them, are currently made to order.

Our one H6 order so far was a rear door pair for a 2024 car in New South Wales. The current-shape H6 arrived here in 2021, and that is the body the set suits. An earlier H6 was sold here before it, with a different body, and the listing isn't checked against that car. If yours is pre-2021, send us a rear door photo first. Do the same if you have the H6 GT. Its sloping roofline changes the rear glass, and we haven't confirmed the set on it.

Haval Jolion

The Jolion is the smaller of the two Havals, a five-seater with tall side glass and a quarter window behind each rear door. The listing offers the same positions as the H6, from a front pair up to the complete set.

It's a newer listing. It isn't on our manufacturer's pattern sheet yet, there are no workshop photos of a fitted Jolion, and the only image on the product page is a generic render. The Jolion has been on sale here since 2021, and we expect a single body to cover it. We'd still rather see your car before cutting. Send a photo of a rear door, opened, with the glass and the trim visible, plus the build month from the compliance plate. The generation guide shows where to find it. We'll confirm the fit or tell you we can't.

GWM Cannon

The Cannon is a dual cab ute, and a dual cab has five panes worth shading: four doors and the fixed window at the back of the cab. The listing covers all five. At checkout the cab window is called "Boot / Tailgate Window", which on a ute means that rear pane behind the back seat. The dual cab guide explains why it matters when a ute is parked nose-in on a site.

The Cannon listing also shows "Rear Quarter Windows" options. A dual cab Cannon has no quarter glass behind its rear doors, so skip those variants. If you think yours has glass there, talk to us before ordering anything.

The same caveats as the Jolion apply: no manufacturer pattern on file, no workshop photos, and a generic image on the listing. Send us a rear door photo and the build month first. The Cannon Alpha is a larger ute, and this listing isn't cut for it.

The front pair

On all three cars, the front shades are for when the car is parked. The glass beside the driver has to be clear while you're driving, in every state, so take the fronts out before you set off. The rear doors, quarter glass and tailgate panel can generally stay in. The road rules post goes through each position.

Also listed

We also list the GWM Tank 500 and the GWM Ora. Both are in the same position as the Jolion and Cannon: listed, not yet photographed, check with us first.

Ordering

  1. H6 built from 2021, not the GT: order straight from the listing. Most people start with the rear pair and add the quarter glass if a child seat sits behind a rear door.
  2. Earlier H6, H6 GT, Jolion or Cannon: send a rear door photo and the build month first.
  3. On the Cannon, the useful extra beyond the doors is the cab window panel. Leave out the quarter-window variants.
