All four SK Forester orders we have had went to Victoria: two rear door pairs, for a 2020 and a 2023 car, one four-door set, and one complete set with the quarter glass and the tailgate, for a 2022 car. Half the buyers covered the back seat and nothing else, which is where we would start too.
The Forester has three listings with us, one per body, and the question that matters is which body you have. The year on the papers usually answers it. In two years, 2018 and 2025, it does not.

The listings, by body
| What you have | Subaru's code | Build years | Windows we cut | Product |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fourth-generation Forester | SJ | 2012–2017 | Front and rear doors | Forester 2012–2017 |
| Fifth-generation Forester | SK | 2018–2025 | Front and rear doors, rear quarter windows, tailgate glass | Forester 2018–2025 |
| New Forester | — | 2026 on | Front and rear doors, rear quarter windows, tailgate glass | Forester 2026 |
| Fifth-generation Outback | BS | 2015–2020 | Front and rear doors, tailgate glass | Outback 2015–2020 |
Door pairs are $49.99 for the front and $59.99 for the rear, or $99.99 for all four, on every listing here. Where a listing has them, the quarter windows are $49.99 a pair and the tailgate panel is $59.99. All four sets hold on magnetically against the steel of the door frame. The Forester page and the Outback page carry the same listings.
SJ, 2012–2017: doors only
The SJ set is door glass and nothing else: the front pair, the rear pair, or the four together. We have no quarter window piece and no tailgate panel for this body, so if the back of your SJ is where the dog rides, the set will not reach it. Every SJ piece is made to order at the moment.

There is also a one-panel sunroof shade under the SJ, at $49.99. Despite its name, it is listed for 2014 builds only, and only for a car that left the factory with a glass sunroof. It is an insulated reflective panel, not mesh.
The 2018 changeover
Subaru Australia changed from the SJ to the SK during 2018, so a car first registered in 2018 can be either. The listings meet at 2017 and 2018 with no overlap, which means a 2018 SJ is the one car the years will send to the wrong set. The build month on the compliance plate settles it. The guide to working out your generation has the method.
SK, 2018–2025: the full set of positions
The SK is the Forester we can cover end to end. Besides the doors, there is the small fixed pane behind each rear door, which we call the port window and which is cut as a pair, and a panel for the tailgate glass. The listing calls them Third-Row Side Windows; there is no third row (more on the quarter-glass page).
The combinations that make sense: rear doors plus tailgate at $108.99 for a car that carries a dog or a load in the back, rear doors plus port windows at $99.99 to cover the whole side of the back seat, and every window including the tailgate at $199.99. One of the four Victorian buyers took the complete set. The other three stayed with door glass, and the which-windows guide explains why the rear pair is usually enough to start.
2025 and 2026: the second changeover
The new Forester arrived here during 2025. Our SK listing runs to 2025 and the new listing starts at 2026, but a car registered in 2025 can be the outgoing SK or the new body, and the year alone will not tell you which. Check the body or the build plate rather than the rego papers.
The 2026 listing offers the same positions as the SK: doors, port windows and tailgate. It is newer than the others, it has no workshop photo yet, and every piece is made to order. One order has come in on it so far, from New South Wales, for a 2026 car: rear doors, port windows and the tailgate.
The Outback, 2015–2020
The Outback is a single listing, cut for the fifth-generation BS wagon built from 2015 to 2020. It takes the four doors and the tailgate glass; there is no quarter window piece for it. Two orders came in from South Australia on the same day in September, both for 2019 cars: one rear door pair, and one set of all four doors plus the tailgate.

What we do not cut
- Forester before the SJ. The SH and earlier Foresters have no listing.
- Quarter glass or tailgate on the SJ. Doors only, as above.
- Outback before 2015. No listing for the earlier wagons.
- Outback from 2021. The sixth-generation Outback arrived in 2021, and the BS set is not cut for it.
- Quarter glass on the BS Outback. No piece listed.
If yours is on that list, the measuring app is the way to get a quote. The other Subaru fits, the Crosstrek and the Tribeca among them, are on the Subaru list.
Ordering
Find your body first. 2012 to 2017 takes the SJ set; 2019 to 2024 takes the SK set; a 2018 or 2025 car needs a look at the plate or the body before you choose; 2026 takes the new listing. For an Outback, 2015 to 2020 is the BS set. Start with the rear doors, then add the tailgate if a dog or a load rides in the back.
