The RAV4 is a five-seat family SUV, and the back seat is where the sun lands. Of the RAV4 orders since late August that we can tie to a single car, one was a rear door pair for the 2013–2018 car, one was a four-door set, and the most recent, in October, was for the older 2005–2012 car: rear doors plus the small quarter windows behind them. Nobody has ordered front doors alone.
We cut three RAV4 generations, plus a sunroof panel for the oldest of them. Each generation has its own door shapes, so the set has to match the car, not just the badge.

The three RAV4 cuts
| What you have | Toyota's code | Build years | Windows we cut | Product |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Third-generation RAV4 | XA30 | 2005–2012 | Front and rear doors, rear quarter windows | RAV4 2005–2012 |
| XA30 with a factory sunroof | XA30 | 2008–2012 | Sunroof glass, one panel | RAV4 Sunroof |
| Fourth-generation RAV4 | XA40 | 2013–2018 | Front and rear doors | RAV4 2013–2018 |
| Fifth-generation RAV4, petrol or hybrid | XA50 | 2019–2025 | Front and rear doors, rear quarter windows, tailgate glass | RAV4 2019–2025 |
Door pairs are the same on all three: $49.99 for the front, $59.99 for the rear, or $99.99 for all four. The quarter windows are $49.99 a pair, and the XA50's tailgate panel is $59.99. The Toyota RAV4 page has the three window listings side by side.
XA30, 2005–2012: why the address says 2007
The XA30 listing lives at an address ending in 2007-2012, which is the range it was first listed under. The listing itself now says 2005 to 2012, which covers every XA30 build. Go by the body, not the address. The XA30 is the last RAV4 with the spare wheel hung on the back door, and that back door is hinged at the side and swings open like a gate rather than lifting up. If yours has the wheel on the back, it is an XA30 or older.

We do not cut a panel for that back door's glass. The XA30 set covers the four side doors and the two quarter windows, the small fixed glass behind each rear door. The rear doors plus quarter windows is $99.99, and all six pieces are $145.99. The quarter-window pieces are made to order.
Some XA30s left the factory with a glass sunroof. For those, there is a separate one-panel sunroof shade at $49.99. It is not mesh; it is an insulated reflective panel that sits in the roof opening, and it is cut for cars built from 2008 to 2012. It only fits a car with the factory sunroof, so check your roof before ordering. It is made to order.
XA40, 2013–2018: doors only
The XA40 listing is door glass only: front pair, rear pair, or the four together. It does not include the quarter windows. This is the RAV4 with the tailgate that lifts and no wheel on the back. In Australia it was not sold as a hybrid; that came with the next generation. Toyota changed over to the XA50 during 2019, so a RAV4 first registered in 2019 can be either. The two look nothing alike from the side, and the XA50's square wheel arches settle it, but the build month on the compliance plate is the certain answer. The guide to build dates and generations explains the method.
XA50, 2019–2025: the most windows

The XA50 is the only RAV4 we cut a tailgate panel for, and the listing covers every window behind the front seats: the rear doors, the quarter windows and the tailgate glass. One naming note: the listing calls the quarter windows "Third-Row Side Windows". The RAV4 has no third row. Those pieces are for the small fixed glass behind the rear doors.
The RAV4 Hybrid arrived in Australia with this generation, and a hybrid has the same body and glass as the petrol car. If you have a 2019–2025 RAV4 Hybrid, this is your set.
The quarter-window and tailgate pieces are made to order, alone or in a set: rear doors plus tailgate is $108.99, all four doors plus tailgate is $154.99, and every window, front doors to tailgate, is $199.99.
What we do not cut
Two RAV4s we have no listing for. The first two generations, the XA10 and XA20, built up to 2005, are older than any set we make; those cars came as three-door and five-door bodies with different glass to the XA30. The other is the new sixth-generation RAV4 that replaced the XA50. Our 2019–2025 cut ends with the XA50, and the new car is a new body we have not measured. A near miss on a door panel is a panel that does not sit flush, so we would rather say no.
If you have either, the measuring app gets you a quote from photos of your own windows.
Ordering
Find the generation first, then pick windows. A 2005–2012 RAV4 with the spare on the back door takes the 2005–2012 listing; a 2013–2018 car with a lift-up tailgate takes the 2013–2018 listing; a 2019–2025 car, petrol or hybrid, takes the 2019–2025 listing. For most people the rear pair is the place to start, and the guide to which windows to cover explains why. The full Toyota list covers the other Toyota fits, from the Yaris to the LandCruiser.
