The BT-50 and the Navara get grouped together because they sit in the same part of the ute market. For shades, though, the useful question is narrower: which of the four listings is cut for your cab, and does it include the window behind the back seat? Two of them do and two don't. The year on the rego papers settles most cases. It doesn't settle a 2020 BT-50 or a 2015 Navara.

The four listings
| Ute | Build years on the listing | Windows we cut | How it holds | Product |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mazda BT-50 | 2013–2020 | Doors and cab rear window | Rubber edge | BT-50 2013–2020 |
| Mazda BT-50 | 2021–2025 | Doors only | Rubber edge | BT-50 2021–2025 |
| Nissan Navara D40 | 2005–2015 | Doors only | Not recorded | Navara D40 |
| Nissan Navara | 2015–2024 | Doors and cab rear window | Magnets | Navara 2015–2024 |
Door pricing is the same on all four: $49.99 for the front pair, $59.99 for the rear pair, $99.99 for the four. On the two listings that have it, the cab window panel is $59.99 by itself, $108.99 with the rear doors and $154.99 with all four doors. The BT-50 page and the Navara page carry the same listings.
The checkout calls the cab window "Boot / Tailgate Window". A ute has no boot. On these listings it means the fixed pane at the back of the cab, behind the rear seat. The dual cab guide covers why that pane matters when a ute is parked nose-in, along with the other utes we cut.
BT-50, 2013–2020
This listing covers the BT-50 that shared its underpinnings with the PX Ranger. It is the more complete of the two BT-50 sets, because it includes the cab window panel, and the newer BT-50 listing doesn't. All seven variants are made to order at the moment, so allow for that when you order.

The listing starts at 2013. This shape was on sale here from late 2011, and the facelift partway through its life changed the front of the ute rather than the cab, so a 2012 car is likely to take the same glass. We haven't fitted one, though. Send us the build month before ordering for a 2011 or 2012 build.
The shades hold with a rubber edge that presses into the window frame, not with magnets.
BT-50, 2021–2025
The current BT-50 shares its platform with the Isuzu D-Max. The two listings are cut separately, so a BT-50 owner should order the BT-50 set and a D-Max owner the D-Max set. They are not swaps for each other.
This set is the four door windows only. There is no cab window panel for this BT-50, and we would rather say that up front than have someone find out after ordering the six-piece set they assumed existed. Like the older BT-50, it holds with a rubber edge.
Open a rear door and the two BT-50s are easy to tell apart. On the older ute, the door card is flat and runs straight across under the glass, with the chrome handle sitting right at that line. On the current one, the armrest angles up towards the handle and there is a separate switch pod for the window. If your build year is 2020, check the door. The new shape went on sale here during 2020, so the year alone could send you to the wrong listing. The build month on the compliance plate is the other way to settle it, and the generation guide shows where to find it.
Two orders have come through on this listing: a rear door pair to Victoria and a set of four to Queensland.
Navara D40, 2005–2015
The D40 listing covers the four door windows. There is no cab window panel. Our pattern came off a 2008–2012 D40, and the listing extends that to the whole 2005–2015 run on the basis that the cab didn't change. That is a reasonable call, but a pre-2008 truck is the one we have the least direct evidence for. Send us a photo of a rear door first if yours is a 2005 to 2007 build.

The D40's rear doors are short, as on most dual cabs, so the rear panels are small. They cover the whole of the glass in the door. Two D40 orders have come in: a set of four for a 2012 truck in Western Australia and a rear pair to South Australia.
The front pair on any of these utes stops short of the mirror. They are for when the ute is parked, on site or at home. Take them out before you drive: the windows beside the driver have to be clear on the road in every state. The rear door panels and the cab window panel are generally fine to leave in, and the road rules post goes through it position by position.
Navara, 2015–2024
This is the Navara sold here from 2015. It is the best-stocked listing on this page: every variant is on the shelf, including the cab window panel and the combinations built around it. The shades on this listing hold with magnets on the steel of the door frame.

The overlap year is 2015, which both Navara listings include. If yours is a 2015, look at the rear door. The D40 card is squarer, with a flat panel under the glass (beige on the truck in our photos). The newer Navara has a sweeping armrest that rises towards the handle, and the handle sits in a curved surround.
The listing stops at 2024. The cab carried on unchanged through the facelift, but we haven't checked a 2025 build against it, so ask us first if yours is that new.
What we don't cut
The single cab and the extra cab (King Cab on the Navara, Freestyle on the older BT-50) have different rear glass, and every set here was cut on a dual cab. Neither listing covers the small rear windows on those cabs. We also have no cut for the Navara before the D40, or for the first BT-50 sold from 2006 to 2011. For any of those, the measuring app gets you a quote on a one-off set.
Ordering
- Find your ute in the table. For a 2020 BT-50 or a 2015 Navara, open a rear door and check the trim before choosing.
- Start with the rear pair if people ride in the back. On the 2013–2020 BT-50 or the 2015–2024 Navara, add the cab window panel if the ute is parked facing away from the sun.
- If you have a 2011–2012 BT-50, a 2005–2007 D40 or a 2025 Navara, send us the build month and a door photo first.
The Mazda list and the Nissan list have the other models from each brand.
