The Camry has been on sale in Australia for nearly forty years and we cut shades for seven of its bodies, which makes it the longest run of any single model in the catalogue. It is also one of the few sedans we sell in real numbers: four 2007–2012 sets went out in the five weeks to early October, all to people shading the back seat. So the question is rarely whether we have a Camry cut. It is which of the seven is yours.

The seven Camry cuts
| Build years on the listing | Toyota's code | Windows we cut | Product |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1987–1992 | V20 (first Australian-built) | Front and rear doors | Camry 1987–1992 |
| 1993–1997 | XV10 (wide body) | Front and rear doors | Camry 1993–1997 |
| 2001–2006 | XV30 | Front and rear doors | Camry 2001–2006 |
| 2007–2012 | XV40 | Front and rear doors | Camry 2007–2012 |
| 2012–2017 | XV50 | Doors and rear windscreen | Camry 2012–2017 |
| 2018–2024 | XV70 | Doors and rear windscreen | Camry 2018–2024 |
| 2025 on | XV80 | Front and rear doors | Camry 2025–2026 |
Door pairs are $49.99 for the front and $59.99 for the rear, or $99.99 for all four, on every generation. The Toyota Camry page lists the same seven.
The hybrid is the same body as the petrol car in every generation, so it takes the same set. The Aurion shares its shell with the Camry of the same era but has its own listing, and we would rather you ordered from that than assumed.
The gap: 1997 to 2001
There is no cut for the XV20, the Camry sold here from late 1997 to 2002. The 1993–1997 pattern does not carry over; the XV20 was a new body with its own door glass. If you have one, the measuring app is the way to get a quote, and if enough people ask we will pattern it.
Two changeover years
The listing years are the supplier's. In Australia the XV40 arrived in the second half of 2006 and the XV50 at the very end of 2011, so a 2006 car can be an XV30 or an XV40, and a late-2011 or early-2012 car can be an XV40 or an XV50. The two bodies in each pair look different enough from the side that a photo settles it, but the compliance plate on the driver's door jamb settles it faster: the build month and year are stamped there. There is a longer guide to build dates and generations if you want it.
For every other year the question does not arise.
The rear windscreen, and why only two generations get it
A sedan's back glass is bonded into the body with no frame around it, so it is harder to shade well than a door window, and we only list a panel for it where the shape has been confirmed on a car. On the Camry that is the XV50 and the XV70. On both, the rear windscreen panel is $59.99 on its own, $108.99 with the rear doors, or $154.99 with all four doors.
The 1987–2012 cars and the new XV80 are door glass only for now. If the sun coming through the back window is the problem you are trying to solve on one of those, a window film is the honest answer; our rear window guide goes through what the panel does and does not do.
The roof panel for the XV70 and XV80
Some 2018-on Camrys have a factory glass sunroof, and for those we cut an insulated roof panel: a reflective foil and air-cushion core about 8 mm thick, sized to the glass, that sits in the opening and lifts out by hand. It is a different product from the mesh door shades, built to stop radiant heat rather than filter light. The XV70 panel is a single piece at $49.99; the XV80 panel is two pieces at $69.99. It only fits a car that left the factory with the glass roof. A Camry with a solid roof has nothing for it to sit in.
What Camry owners actually order
The rear pair, mostly. Of the four 2007–2012 orders mentioned above, two were the rear doors alone and two were all four doors. Across everything we sell the rear pair is half of all units, and a sedan with a child seat in the back is exactly the case it is for. Start there; the fronts can be added later if the glare on the way home turns out to matter. There is a guide to choosing which windows to cover if you are weighing it up.
Ordering
Find the build month and year on the plate, match it to the table, and if you are on a 2006 or a 2011–2012 car, send us the build month before ordering. The full Toyota list covers the other 60-odd Toyota fits if there is a second car in the driveway.
