Mercedes Window Shades Australia: All 24 Fits, and Why the Listing Is Named After One Variant
Mercedes Window Shades Australia: All 24 Fits
This completes the make-by-make fitment series — Mercedes is the largest make in the Auto Sunshades catalogue that had no guide of its own. There are 24 Mercedes products, from $49.99 each.
Two quirks make Mercedes harder to search than most, and both are covered below.
Quirk one: listings are named after one variant
Mercedes sells a lot of engine variants of the same body. The catalogue names each listing after one of them — C200, E200, GLA 250, GLS 450 — rather than after the class. If you drive a C300, an E350 or a GLC 300, searching your exact badge will return nothing, because there is no listing under that name.
That does not mean nothing fits. It means the listing for your generation and body is filed under a different variant number. Match on class, body and build year, then confirm before ordering if your variant designation differs from the one in the listing name.
Quirk two: two classes were renamed mid-life
Mercedes renamed two model lines, and the catalogue reflects both eras:
- ML-Class became GLE. The GLE 2012–2018 listing carries ML-Class as its alternate name. If you drive an ML and searched "ML sun shades", this is the listing you were looking for.
- GLK became GLC. These are listed as separate products — GLK 2008–2015 and the two GLC listings below. They are different generations, not alternate names for one another.
The full list
C-Class — four generations
| Build years | Product |
|---|---|
| 2000–2007 (W203) | C200 W203 2000–2007 |
| 2008–2015 | C200 2008–2015 |
| 2016–2021 | C200 2016–2021 |
| 2022–2025 | C200 2022–2025 |
The cleanest run in the Mercedes range: four generations, no gaps between them, and the earliest carries its W203 chassis code to remove any doubt.
E-Class
| Build years | Product |
|---|---|
| 1997–2002 | E240 1997–2002 |
| 2010–2015 | E300 2010–2015 |
| 2016–2022 | E200 2016–2022 |
| 2018 on | E250 2018-on |
Note the E-Class listings use three different variant numbers across four entries, and that 2018 onward is covered by two overlapping listings. Worth confirming which matches your car. There is also no listing covering 2003–2009.
SUVs
| Model | Build years | Product |
|---|---|---|
| GLA 250 | not year-split | GLA 250 |
| GLB | not year-split | GLB |
| GLK | 2008–2015 | GLK 2008–2015 |
| GLC | 2016–2022 | GLC 2016–2022 |
| GLC | 2023–2025 | GLC 2023–2025 |
| GLE (ML-Class) | 2012–2018 | GLE 2012–2018 |
| GLE | 2019–2022 | GLE 2019–2022 |
| GLS 400 | not year-split | GLS 400 |
| GLS 450 | not year-split | GLS 450 |
| G63 | 2020–2023 | G63 2020–2023 |
Small cars, saloons and people movers
| Model | Build years | Product |
|---|---|---|
| A200 (also A250) | not year-split | A200 |
| CLA 250 | not year-split | CLA 250 |
| S450 | not year-split | S450 |
| EQS 500 | not year-split | EQS 500 |
| V250 | 2016–2021 | V250 2016–2021 |
| V250 | 2022–2026 | V250 2022–2026 |
The A-Class listing covers both A200 and A250 under one entry — one of the few places the catalogue explicitly groups two variants.
What is not listed
Of the 24 Mercedes products, eight carry no year range: A200, CLA 250, EQS 500, GLA 250, GLB, GLS 400, GLS 450 and S450. For those the listing covers the model without distinguishing generations. If your car is an early or very late build of one of those lines, confirm before ordering.
There is no listing of any kind for the CLS, the SL, the SLK or the Sprinter. And as noted, no E-Class listing covers 2003–2009.
All of this is a snapshot of the catalogue as it stands, not a permanent absence.
